Let us Help YOU Reach YourBreastfeeding Goals

Every breastfeeding journey is unique, and our team of expert, compassionate IBCLC Lactation Consultants is here to help you achieve your goals from the comfort of your home.

I could not have made it through my breast feeding journey without Katie. She went above and beyond for my baby and I and was available whenever I needed her or wanted advice on topics from pacifier use, bottles, amounts my baby should eat, breastfeeding positions, etc. She provided recommendations for local providers and had an in depth knowledge of post tongue tie release procedure. I have and will continue to recommend her to other moms I know.

If you’re a new mama struggling with breastfeeding and exhausted from the emotional and physical toll of it all, look no further! Katie is a Godsend 🙏🏼 Within one session my 3 week old baby latched beautifully!! My baby had a tongue tie and was struggling since delivery to latch, and once I met with Katie my baby did amazing! Katie is kind, empathetic, and knows her stuff! She makes you feel incredibly comfortable right from the start, and really listens to you. She recognizes that there’s more than one way to do things, and the most important aspect of her care was that I was comfortable! She always made sure whatever technique we were trying made sense for me and felt natural. Her compassion makes a difference, especially when you’re riding the wave of postpartum hormones! Katie is incredible and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a lactation consultant. She will no doubt love on you and your baby 🙂

Shelby Powell

Hi, I’m Shelby Powell! I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and have been working with lactating families since 2018 to help them achieve their baby feeding goals.

Breastfeeding my own two children was a natural choice for me, but it did not come naturally! My struggle to breastfeed my children inspired me to become an IBCLC and help other families.

Breastfeeding is natural but it’s also a learned behavior and one that requires support and education. That’s where I come in!

I help families with latch issues, nipple confusion, low milk supply, combo feeding, back-to-work pumping/transition, introduction to solids, weaning, and everything in between. I can’t wait to work with you and your baby!

Julia Knight.

Hi, I’m Julia! I graduated from MSU Denver with a Master’s in Human Nutrition & Dietetics and am completing my Master’s Certification in Lactation to become an IBCLC. I have worked at several hospitals, including the Lactation Support Services Department at Children's Hospital Colorado. My education and clinical experiences have inspired my passion for supporting families to overcome breastfeeding challenges. My hope is to help mamas and babies at any stage along their breastfeeding journey-from prenatal support to the introduction of solids. I also strongly believe in offering accessible, evidence-based education.

I have a background in nutrition, community gardening, and local food systems. I invest a lot of my love and free time into school-based community gardens to help support local food systems and educate our newest generations on the value of nutritious food. I also have a passion for the outdoors, cooking, and gardening

I work with The Lactation Network to get six visits approved through BCBS, Cigna, Anthem, and Humana, as well as insurances that have the PNOA and multi-plan symbols. Lactation consults are one of the best ways to identify problems, define your goals, and make a plan to meet them with a professional. I have spent thousands of hours training to be able to meet the unique needs of breastfeeding moms and families.

A consult isn’t just for problems and can be helpful through any stage of breastfeeding! I believe that it’s never too early to seek out help.

We can do just about everything beyond weighing your baby! Each virtual consult begins with a detailed assessment of your needs, and we focus on providing information based on your goals.
I have trained in a broad spectrum of breastfeeding needs, but I have continued training in low milk supply, oral restrictions, clogged ducts, pumping, and flange fitting. I especially love doing prenatal consults!
Virtual consults are available worldwide!

WhatMomsAre Saying

"Your knowledge and communication was the best gift. Thank you for helping me when I was 6 weeks postpartum returning to work and not knowing how many ounces my baby needed. Thank you for guiding me in weaning my baby off the breast shield. Your support was the best gift you could have given this mama and baby! We went 18 months strong breastfeeding because of your page and advice."

"Without Katie’s knowledge and her course, I would have thrown in the towel months ago. She saved my breastfeeding relationship with my daughter, and she is my second breastfed baby! I highly recommend this course to any mom looking to breastfeed."

"After a horrible beginning with my daughter as a newborn, Katie helped me get on track and find the support I needed. With her help, I continued breastfeeding until she was 16 months. Katie helped me troubleshoot and find solutions to continue our journey. I'm hopeful I can keep it up until my daughter is 2 years old now because of her support."

"Katie has been super helpful with my breastfeeding experience. She provides comprehensive plans based on our conversations and checks in with me multiple times to ensure everything is going well. I highly recommend her!"
