What is a nursing-friendly swimsuit?
So what makes a nursing-friendly swimsuit?
First and foremost, it should have easy access for breastfeeding. This means that the top should be able to be pulled down or aside with one hand, so you can nurse your baby without exposing yourself or taking the entire suit off.
Additionally, a nursing-friendly swimsuit should provide adequate support for both you and your baby. This can be in the form of built-in support, like an underwire or internal bra, or simply a well-designed top that will hold everything in place.
Do I need a nursing-friendly swimsuit?
The answer to this is that it is completely up to you! You might be able to find swimsuits that aren’t specifically nursing friendly- but can still is worn while you nurse or pump.
